Heyyyyyyyyyyy!

So lately I've been thinking a lot about my future (gross, I know) and how I'm probably inevitably going to have to move to California (L.A. or San Fransisco, more than likely) in order to do the animation stuff. Are there any local residents here that can tell me a little bit about CA? I've only been once, to San Diego, when I was eight, so I don't remember much other than it's warm. :)

Any help would be appreciated!

Also, thinking about whoring myself out for commissions again. Would anyone be interested?

Ooooh! I live there! Well, I did, like, 5 days ago. Then I went to college....and...well anyway! California is pretty awesome, I lived in a really small town by Gilroy and San Jose, and that's a pretty awesome place. Um, I don't really have much to say other than there are a lot of palm trees. Wow, I sound really stupid right now. Let's see.....the weather isn't too bad except in the summer sometimes. It's a pretty bomb-diggity place!

Hahaha My good friends moved to San Diego a few years ago i visited them last summer. Just watch Conan O'Brien silly. He's new to Cali too and all the celbs are giving him tips.

In and Out burger = the bestttt burgers everrr. Best weather there too. Beaches are amazing there.

I'll be joining you, I know some day I too will have to move to California as well, I get so excited when I think about it.

Most of the recruiters for jobs and interns that visit our school are from California, so I'm just dead sure I'll end up over there one way or another if I end up getting an offer or something.

I WARN YOU.....DO NOT COME TO CALIFORNIA!!!! It's horrid. I'm going to canada as soon as I can.

Get used to conserving water. =B Our droughts are getting fucking ridiculous. Also, don't buy an apartment or house in San Francisco, you won't be able to afford it (and there're plenty of ways to get over there easily if you want to hang out in the city). You can get a pretty nice place close in Oakland that's decently close to Pixar, just make sure to check out the neighborhood it's in. I can help you with that, if you need it. And it's not really warm in the Bay . . . it's pretty much just 70 degrees all year long. So no seasons. And everything's brown. And if you go to San Francisco it's usually cold as fuck.
I mean, advice kind of depends on what city you want to live in and what part of that city. When are you thinking of moving back here?
Oh, Alameda might be a good place to stay, too, if you want to be close to Pixar. About 20 minutes away, I think? And pretty much nothing happens in Alameda.

Yeah, I always thought that San Fran looked like a cool place, even when I was a kid and would watch "Homeward Bound 2", haha.
